T.T.R.A. Facilities and Wish List - how you can help:

Rainbow Stables, the home of Timmins Therapeutic Riding Association, has a large outdoor riding arena with ramp and mounting blocks and a grass arena for mounted games. They also have barns, a tack room, club house and a flood lit arena for evening/night riding. The Timmins Therapeutic Riding Association has several carts, sleighs, and wagons, as well as equipment for western games, trail riding, jumping and driving. Check out our Freedom Trail, a 2.2 km scenic trail that winds through woods and meadows for riding and driving. We appreciate the support of our sponsors who are vital in helping to meet the ongoing need for repairs and maintenance, which ensures the safety of both horse and rider.
You can also help by sponsoring a horse.(Find out what is involved in the cost of sponsoring a horse for one year. )

*An Indoor Riding Facility will also allow us to accommodate more riders (up to 250/year), will create jobs (additional support staff will be needed to upkeep larger barn/more clients), will be available as a community resource for local agencies and organizations. Benefits to year-long therapy include treatment and illness prevention, increased physical fitness (lowering medical costs for clients), progress will be steady and information will be retained (eliminating frustration and creating self-confidence), provides winter activity that does not require legs/mobility/balance, as the typical winter activities do (skiing, hockey, skating, etc).

Current list of Sponsors: Our program, now in its 25th year, is only possible through the generous support of the business community and community organizations. Your support is what enables this program to continue.
